Welcome To Moraccans in ireland

According to the most recent statistics from the Moroccan registered in the embassy of morocco in Dublin, there are less than 1000 Moroccan in Ireland, making it a minority ethnic group in Ireland.

Members of the Morocco community are concentrated in the East area (Clare 30%, Galway15%) South area (Cork 20%) and west in Dublin 10%. Indeed, more than seven in ten members of the Morocco community live in these areas.
The first members of the close knit Morocco community arrived in Ireland during the 1970s and 80s. Although a minority of immigrants came from north of morocco and urban areas in other parts of the country, most of the original settlers came from northern Morocco, particularly the states of Tanger and Casablanca. In fact, many originated from the same city Like Agadir.
Many of the earlier Morocco settlers in Ireland were involved in tourism sectors and circus, after the 90s another wave of Moroccans start to immigrate like chefs, technicians engineers, technical support using the skills of speaking more than one language like Arabic and French , and financial sectors.
